VidGuardian Refund and Dispute Policy

At VidGuardian, we strive to provide the best video analysis and compliance-checking software to our users. However, we understand that there may be situations where a refund or dispute may arise. This policy outlines our guidelines regarding refunds, chargebacks, and dispute resolution.
1. Refund Eligibility
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new customers who are unsatisfied with our software. To be eligible for a refund:
- The refund request must be made within 14 days for users from the date of the initial purchase.
- The request must include a valid reason, such as software malfunction, billing errors, or an inability to access the service.
Refunds do not apply to:
- Subscription renewals (customers must cancel before the next billing cycle).
- Accounts found in violation of our Terms of Service.
- Any one-time setup fees or custom service fees.
2. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please contact our support team at support@VidGuardian.com with the following details:
- Your order ID or transaction reference number
- The email address associated with your VidGuardian account
- A brief explanation of the issue
Once your request is received, we will review it and respond within 7 business days. Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method within 7 business days.
3. Subscription Cancellations
- Customers can cancel their subscription at any time through their account dashboard.
- Cancellations prevent future charges but do not trigger an automatic refund for the current billing cycle.
- If you experience issues canceling, contact our support team before the renewal date to avoid additional charges.
4. Chargebacks and Disputes
If a chargeback or dispute is filed through your payment provider, we may:
- Suspend or terminate your VidGuardian account pending resolution.
- Dispute the chargeback with documentation of your usage and refund eligibility.
- Deny future transactions from your account if a chargeback is determined to be fraudulent.

5. Changes to This Policy
VidGuardian reserves the right to modify this Refund and Dispute Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website and take effect immediately.
